BMW Bavaria C Business Bluetooth Radio

This radio model was first introduced in the early 1990s and originally served as the factory head unit for BMW models such as the E30, E31, E32, E34, E36, and Z1. It can also be installed in the E24 and E28.

The radio is equipped with a high-quality Bluetooth module that includes hands-free functionality. The radios buttons are NOT programmed to control the Bluetooth music playback.

For the music input the AM function is disabled, all the other features will work as usual (FM and cassette). Bluetooth mode is activated by pressing the M button, providing clear, high-quality sound.

The Bluetooth integration is done properly, ensuring true stereo audio output rather than mono, which is unfortunately common on many units found elsewhere. The display pixels have been professionally repaired and the radio does not suffer from overheating issues, another known weakness of this model.

This radio has Dolby Sound for the cassette player but is missing CD changer input, preamp outputs, RDS info and the possibility to program the display meaning in Bluetooth mode there is AM frequency displayed.

As with this and several other Becker radios from the same era, there is a short delay of approximately 8 seconds after switching the radio on before the sound appears.
