Which Payment options are available?
PayPal and bank transfer are accepted.
What is your return policy?
Returns and cancellations are not accepted once work on the custom modification has started, as each unit is built to order.
All radios are used and refurbished electronic devices and are modified individually per order (Bluetooth installation, individual software, extras and configuration).
Due to the custom-made and personalized nature of the service, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal explicitly does not apply, in accordance with Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU.
If there is a functional issue directly related to the Bluetooth modification, please contact me and it will be resolved under warranty.
Normal wear, age-related failures or faults unrelated to the Bluetooth modification are not covered.
Radio
Are the radios refurbished or newly built?
All radios are original BMW units from the 1990s, professionally refurbished and modified.
Each radio is fully tested and, if necessary, repaired. This includes display repairs, replacement of worn components and verification of all functions. My goal is to deliver a unit that looks very close to new and works reliably.
Does the radio keep the original BMW OEM look?
Yes. The original BMW OEM appearance is fully preserved.
All modifications are done internally, without altering the front panel, buttons, display layout or illumination. Once installed, the radio looks exactly as it did when originally installed by BMW – with no modern screens, logos or visual changes.
What are the preamp outputs and do I need them?
Preamp outputs (RCA connectors) allow you to connect external amplifiers instead of relying on the radio’s internal amplifier.
You only need preamp outputs if:
your car already has an external amplifier, or
you plan to upgrade to more powerful speakers that require additional amplification.
The internal amplifier of the radio is designed for factory speaker setups and typically outputs around 10–20W per channel, which is sufficient for original or OEM-style speakers.
If you are using a standard factory system, preamp outputs are not required.
Does the radios come with warranty?
I guarantee that the radio will work correctly upon arrival and during initial installation and testing. Each unit is thoroughly tested and refurbished where necessary before shipping.
However, please note that these are original BMW radios manufactured in the 1990s and are therefore nearly 30 years old. For this reason, a 1-year warranty applies only to the Bluetooth-related components and modifications.
Normal wear, age-related failures, or faults unrelated to the Bluetooth modification are not covered under warranty.
Compatibility & installation
Are the radios compatible with my BMW and a direct replacement?
Yes. All radios are 1-DIN standard size and are direct replacements for BMW E24, E28, E30, E31, E32, E34, E36, Z1 and Z3.
In most cases, installation is plug & play if your car still has the original BMW radio connector:
BMW original 17-pin round radio connector (used in BMW models from 1991 onwards).
The most common issue occurs when a previous owner has cut off the original BMW radio connector instead of using an adapter and installed an aftermarket radio using ISO (or some other type) connectors:
ISO connectors that are commonly used with aftermarket radios.ISO to BMW adapter – can be included if your car no longer has the original BMW radio connector.
If this has happened, I can supply:
the correct BMW radio connector, and
wiring diagrams to reconnect it properly.

How difficult is installation and do you offer support?
Installation is generally straightforward and depends on the specific radio model.
In most cases, the process is simple and plug & play, especially if the car still has the original BMW radio connector. The radio slides into the dashboard and locks securely in place.
Some models, such as BMW Reverse RDS, use a metal mounting frame that must be installed and secured first. Once the frame is in place, the radio slides in and locks automatically:
To remove the radio without the original Blaupunkt removal tools, remove front panel side covers and insert 4 × 3 mm pins or nails into the front holes to release the metal locking tabs.Most radio models use locking tabs that retract or extend when the M2,5Allen head bolt is turned.When the locking slider is pushed down, the main connector is secured to the radio.To unplug the connector, use a wide flat head screwdriver to gently lift the plastic clip. Apply pressure from both sides, not the center, as this clip can break easily.
If you are unsure about any installation step, please contact me before proceeding. Incorrect wiring or improper installation may cause damage to the radio and is not covered under warranty.

How long does shipping take and where do you ship?
I ship worldwide. Shipping time depends on your location and the selected shipping method:
EU: typically up to 5 business days with DPD or 1–2 business days with DHL Express
UK: typically 1-2 days with DHL Express
USA & Canada: typically 2–3 business days with DHL Express
Outside the EU: shipping is handled exclusively via DHL Express to ensure fast and reliable delivery. Please contact me for exact delivery times.
Once the radio is finished and shipped, you will receive a tracking number.
Do I need to pay import fees?
Customs duties, VAT or other import-related fees may apply depending on the destination country and local regulations. These charges are determined by the local customs authority and are the responsibility of the buyer.
