Meet the most reliable radio model BMW ever offered – Reverse RDS
Originally it was available only for E36 and Z3 but it can easily be retrofitted to E30, E32 and others.
This radio has high quality Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.0 module with hands-free function and if needed then for extra 10€ I can also add RCA plugs for the amplifier. The radios buttons are programmed to control the Bluetooth music playback.
For the music input the AM function is disabled, all the other features will work as usual (FM and cassette). For activation just press the AM button – the sound quality is crystal clear.
This radio lacks CD-changer input. If it is something you need then you would need look the Business or Professional models.
The radio comes with mounting frame, hands-free microphone, side covers and code card. BMW fitting microphone housings and E24/E30 flush mount brackets are also available, please check my other products.
The price is 479€ + shipping
It is the only radio where the display text(s) can be programmed for the Bluetooth mode (others have AM frequency displayed).
Static text can be max. 8 symbols long (space also counts as 1 symbol), scrolling/animated texts that can come before static have no limits, some examples here:
