Hands-free Microphone for BMW E31, E32, E34 and Z3 Coupe

This hands-free microphone for Bluetooth radios uses the original BMW E38 car telephone microphone grille. If all other possible microphone locations in your BMW are already occupied by switches, this can be installed in the headliner, next to the sunroof switch.

Inside is a 9 mm omnidirectional Panasonic microphone element which provides decent sound quality. It uses a 3,5 mm mono jack compatible with all of my radios. Many modern aftermarket Bluetooth head units use a 2,5 mm input, in which case an adapter is required – I can include one upon request.
